- As a Senior Software Engineer, you will develop valuable solutions with technical excellence by collaborating with various, international stakeholders within the MIC group
- Design, engineer, and develop trade content solutions to enhance MIC’s services in line with market needs and design user interfaces for our trade content solutions.
- Define product specifications, features, and performance requirements based on market demands
- Conceptualize and develop automated software solutions, including data pipelines
- Extend and maintain our architecture concept for the Trade Content Module
- Engineer and develop software solutions, data models (datasets), automated test cases, web scraping with Python
- Generate creative and innovative ideas for new products or product enhancements
- Create prototypes and conduct testing to validate product designs and functionalities
- Monitor product development timelines and quality standards
Your skills and qualifications
- Hands-on experience with web scraping using Python, Java/ JavaScript, SQL, PLSQL, Clickhouse, Oracle DB, and Kubernetes
- Bachelor’s degree in software product design, engineering, computer science, business informatics, artificial intelligence, or similar with a focus on data science plus 3-5+ years of related experience
- Strong understanding of product development processes, data visualization, and analytical evaluations including time series analysis
- Proficiency in product design software and tools, as well as software architecture
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail
- Creative mindset with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of ERP systems
- Familiarity with agile development environments (e.g., SCRUM, KANBAN)
- Proficient in English (spoken & written)
- Understanding of economic processes
- Excellent project management skills
